How we quote, what the callout covers, and what an inspection can honestly tell you. Last updated 20 September 2026.
Quotes and prices
You get a price before any work starts. That price covers the job we described and the parts named in it. If we open something up and find a second fault, we stop, ring you and quote that separately. We do not add to an invoice without telling you first.
The callout is $100 across the Perth metro area, and it comes off the bill if you go ahead with the work. If you decide not to, the $100 is all you pay. Prices on this site are a guide. The price you are given for your car is the one that counts.
What we do not do
- Roadworthy and licence transfer inspections.
- Air conditioning regassing.
- Anything that needs a hoist, a pit or a workshop press.
- Work on a car parked somewhere unsafe, on a steep slope, or in live traffic.
If the job turns out to need any of that, we say so and point you somewhere that can do it properly.
Pre-purchase inspections
An inspection is a careful look at one car, on one day, in the condition and the spot it is parked in, without dismantling it. It is an informed opinion to help you decide, and it is not a warranty, a guarantee, or a roadworthy certificate.
A car that checks out fine can still develop a fault afterwards. What an inspection buys you is a much better idea of what you are about to hand money over for.
Parts and workmanship
Parts carry whatever warranty the manufacturer or supplier puts on them, and we pass that on to you. If something we did is not right, ring us and we will come back and look at it.
Logbook servicing and your new car warranty
You are entitled to have your car serviced by any qualified mechanic without losing the manufacturer's warranty, as long as the servicing follows the logbook schedule and uses parts of the right specification. We stamp the book and give you itemised receipts, which is what a dealer would ask to see.
Access, payment and cancelling
We need safe, legal access to the car at the address you gave us. Payment is by card, bank transfer or cash when the work is done. If you need to cancel or move a booking, tell us as early as you can and we will sort it out.
