Servicing a car that is still under warranty
If your car is newer, you do not have to use the dealer to keep the warranty. You are entitled to have it serviced by any qualified mechanic as long as the schedule is followed and the parts meet specification. I stamp the book and leave itemised receipts, which is exactly what a dealer would ask to see.
